PINK SATURDAY

I don't know if I've told you, well you probably already know, but I collect chickens. Yea, chickens! They are in my kitchen, everywhere! I have just about run out of room to put any new ones. But I always manage to find a spot if I find a really great pair of chickens. As you can see there are a lot of them. This is just a part of one wall.





People often ask me how I got started collecting chickens. My Granny got me started kind of. She had chickens in her kitchen. But my hubby really started it! He's to blame for all those chickens in the kitchen! And I remind him of that when I bring a new one home and he says, "where are you going to put that at." He bought me this pretty pair of pink chickens when we first got married. They are a little chipped now, from moving over the years, but they are still beautiful!




You can see them in that first picture. They are at the top of the picture about in the middle. This year I am going to be taking pictures of all my chickens. I have about 100+ of them, so that will be a job! So you may see some more of them pop up over the year.
